About the Designer
"New York designer, Viktor Luna, was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and raised in Los Angeles. Viktor’s mother, a talented seamstress in her own right, introduced him to fashion at the age of seven and taught him the foundations of tailoring and construction. Luna polished his skills at the Fashion Institute of Technology following his move to New York. In 2003, he worked as a production assistant for Zero Maria Cornejo prior to launching his first collection in 2006. An avid photographer with a keen eye for nature’s overlooked oddities, Luna steps behind the lens to create inspiration for his vivid prints. He draws upon his eclectic background spanning tranquil summers on Mexico’s coast, his rock and roll days in Los Angeles, and the kinetic urban energy of New York City.
As a finalist on Lifetime’s Project Runway, Luna showed his Spring 2012 collection at New York Fashion Week. Past collections have been featured in Runway Magazine, Blink Magazine, and Nylon Mexico." Source Viktor Luna Offical Site.
