Candy Couture

Ever since I've laid my eyes on the Elie Saab Haute Coutre Spring 2012 collection I've been Smitten. The Candy Couture Collection is Gorgeous!! (Sigh) Not to mention the gorgeous makeup. Tom Pecheux described the Look(makeup) Pure, Simple and Subtle. I had to try and recreate it. The Couture may be out of my league but hey the makeup isn't ^_*

A. Mac #7 lashes
Bottom mix of #105 & #501 Red Cherry lashes
B. Nars Sheer Glow in Punjab.
C. MAC mineralize eyeshadow in Making it easy. Blended the darkest shade through the socket of eye.
D. Metal X creme inner tear duct
E. Mac Warm Soul Cheeks
F: Lancome Doll lashes mascara
G. Filled in the lips with Mac Dervish Lip pencil, topped it with Jouer lip enhancer (sample from birchbox). Instead of the frosty pink sported by the models.
H: Dolly wink pencil & liner in black.
Shiseido brow crayon.

Wow your face is flawless..Do you recommend NARS foundation for a long lasting foundation...I am looking for a liquid (medium/heavy coverage) foundation to try now so that by the time wedding day comes I know what to use...I never used Nars before...hmmm maybe I should?

Omg elvi u totally should! It photographs beautifully make sure to skip everything with SPF so u don't look like Geist in your pictures. It is long lasting prep your face with a primer without SPF and set it with a loose without u guessed it SPF lol! Get samples from sephora and try it. Xxx

I had to take it in a bit on the sides from bust to waist, because I lost some weight. It is such a simple design ANYONE who sews could easily sew an inch on each side to alter it (that is what I did).
