Lace Trimmed with fringe Kimono = Boho Reloaded!

My girlie Bidisa took me out to lunch in Little Italy, had divine steak over wine & stimulating conversations (^_*). Spend the rest of the evening shopping in Soho. Favourite purchase of the evening 'Body Jewelry", shelled out almost $80 for that piece, I know it's "steep" esp for a non-precious metal. But it was Love at First Sight. Blog update with it soon.

Ciao for now

The storm has passed. If this hurricane scare has taught me anything is that, Life really is unpredictable, anything can happen. But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop making plans about the future. Starting by shopping for a White Halloween ^_^. Looking foward to living in the almost 'still same' New York.

First the Earthquake now a Hurricane scare? And to think my evening was going well for me..Spend the evening with cutie dining on Divine Lobster ceviche, Ika yaki, to name a few, with cocktail and conversation that went well with it..finished off all the last minute details to his birthday this weekend....& I came home to a phone call from Pooh, my cutie's sis filling me in on the hurricane scare. Logged on read, reading, watching, listening. more reading "Mayor Bloomberg declaring A State of Emergency". And now I'm offically scared!
Irene is headed to NY. Random thought. Why are hurricanes named after girls? Sorry. Random pondering calms me.

Stay safe New Yorkers

I am a person who gets chilled easily but I never rarely, catch a cold. Weird but true. Don't know if it was spending couple of hours in, "heavily air-conditioned" Bloomingdales or the lace mini I was sporting, felt a tad bit chilly. Stepped into H&M & picked this Light blazer yesterday. Quarter sleeve very light, your ideal summer blazer. And a Steal for $70 something. Or maybe it was just my excuse to buy another Blazer. I'm a Blazer fanatic. Everyone who knows me knows that. The sis & I always get at it, when I reach for one. Mostly because she feels the need to remind me that I already have 100's of blazer. Which is A Complete Exaggerated Lie, it falls more along the lines of 30 something.

Post South Beach staples

1: Guerlain Terracotta spray in Light. Spray this all over my face over my sunscreen for that non-blotchy, all over even glow. I don't tan my face, only my body. So this does the trick for me. Splurge $59.
2. Blend it with Sigma round top kabuki brush F82. Steal $16.
3. Mac Lipstick in Hibiscus, limted edition from the Surf Baby collectin. It's a brightened, medium-dark red-coral with soft gold shimmer. Looks awesome on my current tanned skin. Steal $15.50.
4. Shiseido eyelash curler, amazing my girlfriend sheri had bought hers to our Miami trip fell in love. Splurge $19.
5: Shiseido Ultimate Cleansing oil. I used to use the Shu Umera cleansing beauty oil in green for aging concerns. Used to shell out $75 for the 450 ml. After I started using the Shiseido oil, there is no turning back. It gently removes even the most stubborn mascara and waterproof makeup, with no breakouts. Plus it s a steal for $25.
6. Bumble&Bumble hair prep. Spritz it all over wet hair as a detangler or styled hair to reactivate products already in the hair. Does wonders for my fine hair. Especially while using Bumble&Bumble Hair UnDressing creme. Steal 8oz $18.
7. Bumble&Bumble Surf Spray, a salt-water based styling spray. It gives you the beachy hair without the beach. I recommend using it on dry hair or day old hair. Would not recommend it, if you DONOT like matte hair. 4oz $23. Worth your buck.

Hope this was helpful

1. You can talk to a man without it being "canoodling".
2. A pimple & a little cellulite are not, Thank God, the end of the world.
3. You can actually post (& tag) the hilarious photos from last night's party.
4. When you go grocery shopping, you can dress like you're grocery shopping.
5. You break up and there's a facebook status update. THEY break up and there are tabloid covers with headlines like SAD & ALONE.
6. You get to wear your favourite outfit more than once. Hundreds of times, even!
7. You don't have to avoid choclate cake Every Single Day of Your Life. 'Nuff' said!

Soaking up the Sun. Ocean Drive. People watching. Living in Bikini, Cuban cocktails in the am. Beach 2 minutes away. Warm water. Dozing off on soft white sand. Key West. Snorkling (Sort of). Fontaine Bleau. Arkadia. Liv. Bottle service in the most exclusive & hottest club in South beach. Falling in Love with house music. Sexy tan lines & even sexier tan. Achieving all of this while Laughing hysterically! I used to think that we were the Best, the best of a "close knit of the best of friends" kinda like the "Bugatti" of friends. I was wrong. When we left South beach we were no longer girlfriends. Taxxied in JFK New York, as Sisters..
Cheers to.... running out the batteries in our camera, breaking rules, sneeking late night in hotel pools & beach, playing dress up, gushing at each others wardrobe, dancing, swapping shoes, drama, making up, splitting cheques & picking up cheques, inventing strange noises, cracking dumb jokes & mostly doing it with people who understand you. If you know what i'm talking about can i get an Amen.
